SASSA Will Take Expert Services to Fernie Local Community

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently visiting the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services to the community.

SASSA is going to be rendering providers for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency mentioned it is actually alarmed in regards to the higher range of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The intention of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a significant amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“That is because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no thoroughly functional office devoted to service the area each day. The company stage designed for intervention ordeals a higher influx of probable beneficiaries, that makes it tough to the Workplace to attend to all status sassa people who visit a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise a lot more methods to help the servicing of all clients and maximize access to Social Assistance products and services,” the agency said.
